The House of Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia held its 16th plenary session of the fourth sitting period in 2025-2026 on Thursday, 12 March 2026. The plenary session approved the appointment of the Chair of the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

DPR Chair Puan Maharani, presiding over the plenary session, reported that 294 members of parliament were in attendance.

The leadership representatives present included Deputy Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Chair Saan Mustopa, and Deputy Chair Sari Yuliati.

In the session, Commission XI Chair Mukhammad Misbakhun presented a report on the results of deliberations and fitness assessments of the proposed members of the OJK Board of Commissioners, which had previously been nominated by the President.

Misbakhun reported that the decision had been reached through consultative procedures following the completion of the fit and proper test.

The five approved appointments are: Friderica Widyasari Dewi as Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners; Hernawan Bekti Sasongko as Deputy Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners; Hasan Fawzi as Executive Head of Capital Market, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange Supervision; Adi Budiarso as Executive Head of Digital Finance and Crypto Assets (IAKD); and Dicky Kartikoyono as Executive Head of Consumer Education and Protection.

Following the presentation of the report, the session chair requested approval from all DPR members present in the plenary session. The DPR subsequently approved the five members of the OJK Board of Commissioners for a term of office from 2026 to 2031.
