Jakarta — The 16th plenary session of the fourth working period of the 2025–2026 parliamentary year of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at parliament complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday approved five names for members of the board of commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2026–2031 period.

The five appointees are Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Hernawan Bekti Sasongko, Hasan Fawzi, Dicky Kartikoyono, and Adi Budiarso. They had previously undergone fitness and propriety tests held by Commission XI of the DPR RI on Wednesday, 11 March.

“May we ask the honourable assembly whether the report of Commission XI of the DPR RI on the results of the fitness and propriety test for the prospective members of the OJK board of commissioners can be approved?” asked DPR RI Speaker Puan Maharani, which was answered in the affirmative by parliament members.

Commission XI chairperson Mukhamad Misbakhun reported that Friderica Widyasari Dewi was selected as chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners and Hernawan Bekti Sasongko as vice chair.

Hasan Fawzi was selected as executive head overseeing capital markets, derivative finance, and carbon exchange; Dicky Kartikoyono as executive head overseeing business conduct supervision, financial services education, and consumer protection; and Adi Budiarso as executive head overseeing innovation and technology supervision in the financial sector, digital financial assets, and cryptocurrencies.

Misbakhun stated that the appointees were approved through deliberation and consensus in an internal Commission XI meeting.

“Our hope is that these commissioners, the chair, vice chair, and board members of the OJK can help rebuild public trust in the OJK, in the Indonesian capital market, and in the Indonesian financial services industry so that it becomes a more credible institution, trusted by the public, and contributes to Indonesia’s future development for the nation and state,” said Misbakhun.

Previously, on Wednesday, 11 March, Commission XI of the DPR RI conducted fitness and propriety tests for ten prospective members of the OJK board of commissioners nominated by the President.

The ten candidates who underwent the fitness and propriety test were Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Agus Sugiarto, Hernawan Bekti Sasongko, Ary Zulfikar, Hasan Fawzi, Darmansyah, Dicky Kartikoyono, Danu Febrianto, Adi Budiarso, and Anton Daryono.
