Parliament Approves 5 New Members of OJK Financial Services Authority Board
A plenary session of parliament convened today with the approval of the composition of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Board of Commissioners among its agenda items. Parliament approved five members of the OJK Board of Commissioners for the 2026-2031 term.
The session was held at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday, 12 March 2026, chaired by House Speaker Puan Maharani.
Initially, the Chair of Commission XI of parliament, Misbakhun, reported the results of fitness assessments on ten candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners. Misbakhun stated that the commission had agreed upon five candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners.
Puan then sought the approval of the parliamentary members present. The members unanimously approved the appointments.
“May the report of Commission XI on the results of the fitness assessment of candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners be approved?” asked Puan.
“Approved,” responded the session participants.
The following is the composition of the five members of the Financial Services Authority Board of Commissioners for the 2026-2031 term:
Friderica Widyasari Dewi – Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners
Hernawan Bekti Sasongko – Vice Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners
Hasan Fawzi – Chief Executive of Capital Market Oversight, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange
Dicky Kartikoyono – Chief Executive of Oversight of Financial Services Business Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection
Adi Budiarso – Chief Executive of Financial Sector Innovation Technology Oversight, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets
