Parking at McDonald Sarinah

About 1:30 a.m. on April 2, 2003, my friends and I would like
to have something to eat at McDonald Sarinah outlet. Our car was
parked exactly in front of this outlet. Half an hour later we
decided to leave this place. No sooner had we entered the car
than we were surprised to hear something strongly knocking the
roof of the car. I got out and found the front right part of the
roof dented (about 15 cm in diameter) as a beer glass had fallen
on it.

A short while later, Ralo, who claimed to be from Hard Rock
Cafe came to see us and explained to us that one of the cafe's
visitors had dropped the beer glass. He said that the cafe
management would take responsibility over this matter and asked
us to see his manager.

Unfortunately, the manager was very unfriendly and did not
show any willingness to be, as Ralo had said, responsible for
this incident. When I told him I would publish this matter in the
newspaper, he loudly challenged me to do so and said, equally
loudly, that his name was Philips.

I find it hard to understand how the famous Hard Rock Cafe
could recruit someone behaving like a thug as its manager.
