Parking at Graha Medika

From Kompas

In March, my family and I traveled from Bandung to Jakarta to
see one of our relatives who was being treated at Graha Medika
Hospital. We were at the hospital for about 30 minutes. When we
returned to our car, the front right signal lamp was on the
ground. We did not report this to the relevant authorities then
because we were able to put the light back in place. Our car was
parked about five meters from the parking ticket post.

On April 21, 2000 we went to the same hospital, again for the
same reason, and this time spent about three and a half hours
there. When we returned the parking lot, we found that our front
left signal lamp had gone. This time our car was parked almost in
front of the main lobby of the hospital, an area where a lot of
security officers are usually available. Yet, someone had enough
gumption to remove the lamp.

At that time, one of the security officers did not seem
surprised about this and asked me to report it to the security
chief of the hospital. We were disappointed because the security
section of the hospital did not seem willing to be responsible
for the loss and even wildly suggested that the lamp might have
fallen off somewhere else, something we believe could not have
happened.

We hope, therefore, that the management of Graha Medika
Hospital will pay more attention to the security of the vehicles
of the hospital's visitors and patients.
