Park inspires Reds to victory

JAKARTA (JP): Aspac's American Bobby Parks poured in a game-
high 30 points to lead the Red team over the Whites 115-102 in
their Kobatama All Stars basketball duel on Sunday.

Parks, warming up for the Indonesian league which starts
tomorrow, teamed up with IM Texmaco's Trasel Rone to deny Charles
Jones a gamely run, to the delight of 3,000 at the Senayan
Basketball Hall.

The Reds trailed 17-21 in the first five minutes, but went on
untouched during the rest of the game thanks to their stars of
the day -- Parks and Rone. Towering Rone was named the best
foreign player of the match.
Rone also won the slam dunk contest which followed the game.
Craig Davis triumphed in the three-point shooting competition.
