Parents of Students and Buol Regency DPRD Leadership Appreciate Educational Approach at SPN Polda Central Sulawesi under Kombes Seminar Sebayang
Parents of students up to the leadership of the Buol Regency DPRD in Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) have appreciated the education system applied by the Head of the National Police School (SPN) Polda Sulteng, Kombes Seminar Sebayang. Residents describe Kombes Seminar as capable of maintaining integrity and providing the best educational services to learners.
This appreciation was conveyed by the parents of Polri non-commissioned officer cadet Muhammad Raihan from Parigi Moutong. They stated that the educational approach received by their child is very good.
“We convey our highest appreciation and respect to the SPN Polda Central Sulawesi for the current learning system applied to students,” said the parents on Tuesday (28/4/2026).
“We feel, hear, and see it well through social media as well as through parental visits. That at SPN, the learning process and teaching staff are humanistic in accordance with the professional curriculum standards of the Indonesian National Police education and training institution towards Polri reform,” they added.
The parents said their child is comfortable with the learning system. Moreover, they noted, the learning also relates to faith and morals.
“Additionally, from our child’s stories, it strengthens our confidence in the learning conducted at SPN, where the education not only emphasises physical standards and technical skills but also heavily focuses on building faith and piety as the main pillars in supporting students’ mental and moral development,” they stated.
The parents also appreciated the SPN’s seriousness in creating future Polri members. They hope their child can become a dignified and responsible Polri member.
“This education system demonstrates the institution’s seriousness in creating a Polri that is not only physically brave and resilient but also dignified, responsible, and most importantly, of noble character in carrying out its service to the community,” they said.
Furthermore, the parents appreciated the integrity instilled by SPN Head Kombes Seminar Sebayang. Moreover, they noted, Kombes Seminar Sebayang has received the 2025 Hoegeng Award.
“We are even more convinced and reassured that our child’s education and guidance are in the hands of someone who is truly professional and highly committed to quality in maintaining Polri integrity,” they said.
Appreciation from DPRD Members
In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Buol Regency DPRD, Karmin O. Y. Kaimo, also appreciated the education pattern at SPN Polda Sulteng. He stated that SPN Polda Sulteng applies humanistic education without any illicit levies or pungli.
“I appreciate the education and nurturing pattern applied by the Head of SPN Polda Central Sulawesi, Kombes Pol Seminar Sebayang, in educating Polri non-commissioned officers at SPN Polda Sulteng, which emphasises a professional, humanistic education pattern without violence, without pungli, racist or harsh words,” said Karmin.
“But educating in a way that builds maturity and awareness among students, starting with strengthening faith and worship, followed by the exemplary conduct of supervisors and educators who are of integrity,” he explained.
Karmin believes that SPN Polda Sulteng can produce moral and professional Polri members.
“We are confident and believe that this kind of education pattern will produce Polri figures who are moral, professional, and of integrity in protecting and nurturing the community,” he concluded.
Komnas Polri Review
Komnas Polri Commissioner Gufron Mabruri has also reviewed the education at SPN Polda Sulteng. He stated that SPN Polda Sulteng applies education that prioritises integrity.
“Last week, I also visited and spoke with Mr Seminar Sebayang while checking the educational facilities and infrastructure at SPN Sulteng,” said Gufron to reporters.
Gufron also revealed appreciation from various parties to SPN Polda Sulteng, including from parents of students to local council members.
“The Head of SPN Polda Sulteng, Kombes Seminar Sebayang, recipient of the 2025 HA, has received appreciation from learners for implementing an integrity zone and being corruption-free in the SPN environment,” he said.
