Parcel bomb suspect apprehended

MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi: The sender of a parcel that exploded
in a post office in the South Sulawesi capital of Makassar last
week has been arrested by the security forces in West Java, local
police said here on Tuesday.

Adj. Comr. Siswa, acting spokesman for the South Sulawesi
Provincial Police, said Anky was being held in a police cell in
the West Java town of Bogor.

He said Anky's name appeared on the mailing receipt for the
parcel, which was addressed to Sahabuddin, Sengkang village, Wajo
subdistrict.

However, Siswa said Sahabuddin was still at large and the
police had launched a manhunt for him.

The parcel blew up last Saturday at Makassar's Daya post
office, seriously injuring three workers. --Antara
