Papua's State Budget Realisation Shows Positive Trend Through June

The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) for Papua Province stated that the realisation of the State Budget (APBN) in the Papua region up to the end of June 2026 shows a positive trend, both in terms of state revenue and state expenditure. Head of the DJPb Regional Office for Papua Province, Izharul Haq, said in Jayapura on Saturday that state revenue in the Papua region had reached Rp2.90 trillion, or 42.78 percent of the annual target of Rp6.70 trillion. “This realisation shows that the APBN performance in Papua is well maintained and serves as important capital in supporting development and services to the public,” he said. According to Izharul, state revenue was dominated by domestic tax revenue, which was realised at Rp1.71 trillion. He explained that in addition, revenue from international trade taxes reached Rp119.31 billion, mostly derived from import duties on goods and services. “The performance of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) was also very good, as by the end of June 2026 it had reached Rp1.07 trillion, or 130.51 percent of the target. This achievement was driven by the realisation of other PNBP amounting to Rp894.13 billion, as well as Public Service Agency (BLU) revenue of Rp179.65 billion,” he said. “Meanwhile, central government spending was realised at Rp7.50 trillion, and transfers to the regions have been disbursed amounting to Rp17 trillion, consisting of Revenue Sharing Funds, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds, Special Autonomy Funds, and Village Funds,” he added.
