Papua Provincial Government Lobbies State-Owned Enterprises Board on Electricity and Free Travel Support

The Papua Provincial Government held a meeting with the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Board on Friday, 27 February, to discuss expanding electricity access in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost regions (3T areas) as well as support for a free homecoming travel programme for the public. Papua Governor Mathius Fakhiri expressed hope that the meeting would produce concrete steps in the near term, including the development of cooperation frameworks and mapping of priority needs across Papua.
