Indonesian Military (TNI) personnel from the Yonif Raider 112 Dharma Jaya regiment disembarked from the KRI Teluk Palu vessel during a welcoming ceremony for the Papua New Guinea Border Security Task Force at Krueng Geukuh Public Port, North Aceh, on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

A total of 450 personnel from the Yonif Raider 112 Dharma Jaya regiment, operating under the command of the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command (Kodam), have returned to Aceh following their deployment. The troops completed a 15-month tour of duty assigned to maintain defence and security in the Papua region whilst upholding the sovereignty of the Indonesian Republic (NKRI).

The soldiers received a formal reception upon their arrival, with commanders providing guidance to the returning personnel following the homecoming ceremony at the port facility.
