Papeg Health Office Hopes District Health Offices Strengthen National Programme Data
Health activities in the regions must be reported to the Ministry of Health through a unified data application. Wamena (ANTARA) - The Health Office (Dinkes) of Papua Pegunungan Province (Papeg) hopes that the district health offices in the area can strengthen data related to national or central programmes. Acting Head of Dinkes Papeg, Titu Kogoya, in a written statement in Wamena on Tuesday, said that data or reports on every national activity, such as the Free Health Check (CKG) and the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme, are actually routinely carried out by the health offices in the eight districts. “These national programmes have actually been implemented by our colleagues in the eight districts, but because the reporting to the centre through the application system is lacking, it is considered that our local colleagues are not working,” he said. According to him, health reporting now uses a unified data application created by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes RI) for every region in the country to report their activities periodically. He explained that reports on health programmes also influence the achievements of health services in every province in Indonesia, particularly in Papua Pegunungan. “If reports are not provided, during every coordination meeting with the centre via Zoom, we will be spotlighted regarding the effectiveness of coordination with the eight district health offices. Even though we always remind our colleagues in the eight district health offices to prepare reports on their programme work, whether daily, weekly, or monthly,” he said. He added that national programmes that must be implemented in every region, such as CKG and MBG, are special policies of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to be carried out in meeting minimum service standards in the regions. “We are limited to supervising national policies that are delegated to the regions. Because if the eight district health offices routinely carry out activities and prove it with reports, then any proposals to the Ministry of Health will immediately be assisted, and vice versa,” he stated.
