The General Chairman of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), stated that the 28-year journey of the party reflects a symbol of limitless struggle for the people. The loyalty of cadres in guarding the coalition with Prabowo Subianto has yielded sweet results after undergoing three previous political contests.

“Yes, we must remain consistent, especially in siding with Prabowo, because our wait has not been short. We have experienced the ups and downs of this coalition with Prabowo through three cycles,” Zulhas stated in a statement received on Thursday (17/09/2026).

The Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs emphasised that victory in this election serves as a momentum to prove the party’s policy direction. All work programmes are ensured to run successfully to realise tangible public welfare across various sectors.

“It is only on this third attempt that we have won. Therefore, for the National Mandate Party (PAN), the policies we implement must not fail; we must succeed, because it took three tries to achieve this,” he added.

Zulhas stated that PAN always adheres strictly to a struggle platform based on the constitution and the interests of the many. These fundamental values include upholding Article 32 of the 1945 Constitution, realising food sovereignty, and enforcing social justice.

The loyalty of cadres to the party’s line of struggle has proven consistent in siding with the fate of millions of farmers in various regions. This political consistency serves as the primary foundation in formulating pro-people policies for the future progress of the Indonesian nation.

The National Mandate Party (PAN) is preparing to welcome its 28th anniversary celebrations. This grand event is scheduled to take place on the 18th, replacing the original August schedule due to a heavy state agenda.

For this celebration, Zulhas mentioned that President Prabowo Subianto, ministers, and other coalition parties are planned to attend.

“God willing, the President will attend tomorrow. Ministers will also be present, and we may also invite friends from other coalition parties to attend,” said Zulhas.
