Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Command Council (DKP) of Panji Bangsa celebrated its first anniversary by holding a thanksgiving event and providing assistance to around 200 orphans.

DKP Panji Bangsa Chairman Rivqy Abdul Halim explained that the first anniversary served as a moment of reflection on the organisation’s journey, as well as a demonstration of social concern for those in need.

“We deliberately combined Panji Bangsa’s first anniversary with sharing love with orphans, especially as this momentum coincides with the month of Muharram, which in Islamic tradition is known as a very special month for honouring and caring for orphans,” Rivqy said at the Central Board of the National Awakening Party (PKB) office in Jakarta on Monday.

He further stated that the month of Muharram also serves as an important reminder for all Panji Bangsa cadres to continuously foster social awareness and strengthen humanitarian values in every organisational activity. Therefore, he reminded cadres that Panji Bangsa must provide positive energy to the community.

Additionally, he stressed that Panji Bangsa as an organisation must not only be present in ceremonial activities but must also become part of the solution to the social problems faced by society.

“We want to emphasise that the strength of an organisation is not only measured by the solidarity of its cadres, but also by the extent to which its presence can bring benefits and happiness to the community, especially to those who need attention and affection,” he said.
