Panipahan Gets a Makeover: Police and Residents Unite to Repair Roads and Clean Up
Desa Panipahan, Kecamatan Pasir Limau Kapas, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir (Rohil) is undergoing improvements. Residents and police personnel worked together to repair roads and conduct clean-up activities.
The initiative, spearheaded by Batalyon B Pelopor of Brimob Polda Riau and Polres Rokan Hilir, took place this morning. Kapolres Rohil AKBP Isa Imam Syahroni, accompanied by Danyon B Pelopor Brimob Polda Riau AKBP Efadhoni Lilik Pamungkas, was present to lead the event.
Danyon B Pelopor Brimob Polda Riau, AKBP Efadhoni Lilik Pamungkas, stated that this activity represents the presence of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) among the community, not only in security matters but also in social actions.
“We want to continue being present and assisting the community. Through this collaborative effort, we hope that interpersonal relations will grow stronger and the spirit of togetherness will be maintained,” said Efadhoni in his statement on Monday (20/4/2026).
During the event, Brimob personnel and residents worked together to clean places of worship, especially mosques, to make them cleaner and more comfortable for prayer activities.
In addition, police personnel and residents repaired damaged and potholed roads that have long been a concern for the community due to the dangers they pose to road users.
Collaboration between Polri and the community is the key to maintaining security and public order, particularly in coastal areas like Panipahan. The presence of police among the people is a tangible form of Polri’s commitment to building closeness while providing direct benefits.
A strong atmosphere of camaraderie was evident throughout the event. Personnel and residents worked side by side, demonstrating strong synergy in maintaining the environment while creating a safe and conducive situation.
Community Outreach
Meanwhile, as part of the cooling system in Panipahan, police engaged in outreach with residents at the Penghulu Office of Teluk Pulai, Kecamatan Pasir Limau Kapas, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. The activity was directly led by Kapolsek Panipahan Iptu Subiarto A Tampubolon, accompanied by Bhabinkamtibmas for Kepenghuluan Teluk Pulai Aiptu Ramadanis.
In the event, personnel from Polsek Panipahan carried out visits and outreach with village officials and local residents as part of efforts to cool down following social dynamics emerging in the community. Kapolsek Panipahan conveyed several security and public order advisories to the residents.
The community was reminded to remain vigilant against C3 crimes (theft, robbery, and motorcycle theft), as well as to be wary of the spread of radical ideologies and other criminal acts. Additionally, residents were urged not to clear land by burning to prevent forest and land fires (karhutla).
Polsek Panipahan also reminded the community to stay away from online gambling practices and drug abuse, which can damage social life. Residents were advised not to be easily provoked by unverified issues and to report any security disturbances to 110.
