Pangkajene Health Centre Introduces Seven Community-Based Innovations to Improve Services
The UPT Puskesmas Pangkajene in Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap), continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the quality of health services through various innovative breakthroughs. As a tangible manifestation, the Pangkajene Health Centre has registered seven innovations with Bapperida (Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency) of Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The various registered innovations are the result of the creativity of health workers within the Pangkajene Health Centre in addressing various public health problems while improving the quality of health services to be more effective, efficient, and sustainable. One such innovation is ANJANG SANA ANJANG SINI (Let’s Invite Productive Age Family Members to Non-Communicable Disease Health Service Posts with the Elderly and Adolescents through Exercise and Health Screening), innovated by Erna Suyuti, S.Kep., Ns. The Head of UPT Puskesmas Pangkajene, dr. Mariana, M.Kes, stated that all these innovations were born from community needs and the experience of officers in providing daily health services. “The proposed innovations not only aim to solve various health problems, but also to present services that are more accessible, well-targeted, and provide real benefits to the community,” she said in a statement received on Tuesday (7/7/2026). Through this innovation registration, the Pangkajene Health Centre hopes that all the developed innovations can continue and have a positive impact on improving the community’s health status. Furthermore, these innovations are expected to become part of strengthening the culture of innovation in Sidenreng Rappang Regency and contribute to increasing the Regional Innovation Index. “We hope that the registered innovations can provide broad benefits to the community, continue to be sustainable in their implementation, and become a real contribution of the Pangkajene Health Centre in supporting the improvement of the Regional Innovation Index of Sidenreng Rappang Regency,” she concluded.
