Pangdam Jaya Officially Assumed by Three-Star General, Lt Gen Lucky Avianto Appointed as Pangkogabwilhan III

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto officially inaugurated several high-ranking officers to occupy strategic positions within the TNI, including receiving reports on the corps promotion of TNI generals. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Gatot Soebroto Auditorium, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday, 26 March 2026.

Among those receiving promotions is the position of Panglima Kodam Jaya (Pangdam Jaya), now held by three-star General Lt Gen TNI Deddy Suryadi, following a previous organisational validation of the position.

Subsequently, the reactivation of the position of Head of Territorial Staff (Kaster) TNI was inaugurated by Lt Gen TNI Bambang Trisnohadi, who previously served as Pangkogabwilhan III, while Lt Gen TNI Lucky Avianto was inaugurated as Pangkogabwilhan III, replacing Lt Gen TNI Bambang Trisnohadi.

Furthermore, the TNI Commander inaugurated Maj Gen TNI Tugino, who previously served as Head of Military Police II Jakarta, now shifting to Auditor General (Orjen) TNI Babinkum TNI.

A total of 57 TNI generals were inaugurated into new positions in today’s ceremony. The 57 TNI generals consist of 47 TNI Army generals, 9 TNI Navy generals, and 1 TNI Air Force general.

Several Navy officials were inaugurated into new positions, including the current Commander of Air Squadron XI Koarmada RI held by Rear Adm TNI Joko Andriyanto, and Commander of Air Squadron X held by Rear Adm TNI (Mar) Sugianto. From the Air Force, the position of Permanent Lecturer at Unhan is now held by Air Commodore TNI Sigit Sasongko.

In its press statement, the TNI Information Centre stated that the implementation of the handover and corps promotion report reflects the TNI’s commitment to strengthening the organisation through professional and adaptive leadership regeneration in facing dynamic task challenges.
