The Indonesian Internet Domain Name Manager (PANDI), together with the Indonesian Information Technology Federation (FTII) and the Indonesian Telematics Software Association (ASPILUKI), is again holding developerday.id as a platform for developing technology talent while connecting developers with industry and potential investors.

PANDI Chairman Isnawan said developerday.id, which was also held last year, is expected to grow into a flagship technology event that produces Indonesia’s best talent.

“We want to make developerday.id an iconic event and a reference for local developers, as well as a space that brings together developers and potential investors,” Isnawan said in a statement received on Sunday.

Meanwhile, FTII Chairman Andi Budimansyah said the event is expected to encourage the birth of technological innovations that benefit society while being able to compete globally.

ASPILUKI Chairman Irwin Day added that the growth of the application sector is a momentum to strengthen the national software developer ecosystem.

He said the investment value of the application sector in 2025 reached around Rp54.18 trillion, while the number of developers in Indonesia is estimated at around two million people.

“developerday.id is a good step that needs to be continued sustainably to strengthen the quality and competitiveness of Indonesian developers,” he said.

The developerday.id 2026 series will begin with registration from 14 August to 14 October 2026. Submitted proposals will then go through a selection stage on 15-18 October 2026.

A total of 18 best teams are scheduled to be announced on 24 October 2026 to then undergo preparations for the main developerday.id 2026 event on 10 November 2026.

The event is also part of efforts to prepare Indonesian technology talent and products to participate in the APICTA Award 2026, scheduled to take place on 7 December 2026.

Through this second edition, PANDI together with FTII and ASPILUKI hope developerday.id can strengthen the national digital innovation ecosystem, improve the competitiveness of Indonesian developers, and open opportunities for domestic technology works to be recognised globally.
