JAKARTA — The Chairman of Pemuda Pancasila (Pancasila Youth) Japto Soerjosoemarno was reticent following questioning by the Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) at the Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

Japto Soerjosoemarno was questioned as a witness in connection with an alleged gratification case related to coal production per metric tonne in Kutai Kartanegara.

According to Kompas.com’s monitoring, Japto was questioned for approximately four hours, from 09.00 to 13.26 Western Indonesia Time.

Japto stated that the subject matter of today’s questioning should be directed to KPK investigators.

“Don’t ask me,” Japto said.

“Ask the investigators,” he added.

Subsequently, media personnel continued to follow Japto as he walked away from the KPK Building, enquiring about the questioning. However, Japto chose to remain tight-lipped until he entered his vehicle and departed the Red and White Building.

“Asked about my legal responsibility,” he said.
