Pancasila Day Ceremony Commander Summoned by President Prabowo
The commander of the Pancasila Day ceremony at the Pancasila Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta on Monday, June 1, received appreciation from President Prabowo Subianto.
Prabowo stated that this year’s Pancasila Day ceremony was conducted smoothly. The 8th President of Indonesia praised the performance of Infantry Colonel Didin Nasrudin Darsono, who served as the ceremony commander.
After receiving a report from Darsono that the ceremony had concluded, Prabowo confirmed the event had proceeded well and summoned the commander to meet him.
“Thank you for the successful ceremony, thank you. The ceremony commander, please come to me, thank you,” Prabowo said.
Infantry Colonel Didin Nasrudin Darsono, born in Sidoarjo, East Java, on July 5, 1979, is a TNI soldier and a 2001 graduate of the Military Academy. His current position is Head of the Territorial Section for Korem 163/Wirasatya Bali.
The Pancasila Day ceremony commenced with the singing of ‘Indonesia Raya’ and a moment of silence. This was followed by the reading of the Pancasila text by MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani and the 1945 Constitution by DPD Chairman Sultan Bahtiar Najamuddin.
Prabowo then delivered his speech as the ceremony’s inspector. The event concluded with a repeat of ‘Indonesia Raya’.
In his address as the Pancasila Day ceremony inspector, Prabowo claimed his government is continuously implementing national transformation aligned with Pancasila.
“Transforming and making significant changes is not easy. We will face obstacles, challenges, and possibly resistance from groups that engage in corruption, embezzlement, and illegal economic activities,” he said.
According to Prabowo, Indonesia must transform into a strong and courageous nation, especially in making correct decisions despite difficulties.
“We may face resistance from anti-national elements attempting to weaken the Republic of Indonesia. But a great nation must be brave. We must have the courage to make the right decisions, however difficult, and to defend our people,” Prabowo added.
This year’s Pancasila Day commemoration carries the theme “Pancasila: Unifier of the Nation, Foundation of World Peace.”
