Pancasakti Run 2026 Opens Path for Indonesian Runners Towards World Marathon Majors
After a successful debut in 2025, the Pancasakti Run returns this year with the theme ‘The Journey to Going Public Begins’. The running event will take place on 19 July 2026 in the QBig BSD City area, Tangerang.
Event chairman Hendy Sugiono stated that the second edition features several enhancements over the previous year, including the introduction of a new Half Marathon (21K) category alongside the existing 10K and 5.5K distances. A total of 5,000 runners are targeted to participate in the event, which aims to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle whilst fostering togetherness through sport.
Pancasakti Run 2026 has also prepared a total podium prize of Rp230 million for winners across all categories. Additionally, organisers are providing various attractive lucky draw prizes for participants.
Pancasakti Group CEO Suwandy Tasmady said this year’s event has been elevated to an international standard. ‘This time, Pancasakti Run 2026 has been upgraded and become a prestigious race because it has obtained international certification. This is proof of our commitment to delivering a sporting event that is not only festive but also high-quality, measurable, and provides the best experience for all participants,’ Suwandy remarked.
Demonstrating its commitment to quality, the Pancasakti Run route has received a measurement certificate from the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). This certification ensures the course meets international measurement standards.
A key attraction of the event is the opportunity for Half Marathon category participants to enter a draw for the World Marathon Majors 2027. This opportunity is offered to three runners who complete the race within a maximum time of two hours and 30 minutes.
Registration for Pancasakti Run 2026 has opened via the organiser’s official website. Registered participants will receive various facilities in a race pack with a total value of up to Rp1 million. The package includes an exclusive jersey, a race bib (BIB), a finisher medal, a special edition tumbler, a Flazz BCA card, a finisher jacket specifically for the Half Marathon category, and various products from sponsors.
Organisers are also aiming to boost the event’s festivity with the presence of several national figures, including Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) and Sandiaga Uno. Furthermore, various running communities from Greater Jakarta and other regions across Indonesia are scheduled to participate.
Race pack collection will be held on 17-18 July 2026 at the BSD Marketing Office.
