Welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1447 H, the National Mandate Party (PAN) parliamentary faction has again organised the Mudik Ceria PAN 2026 programme under the banner “Assist Citizens in Free Homebound Travel”, as an expression of concern to enable citizens to return to their hometowns safely, comfortably, and without cost.

This year, the PAN parliamentary faction is dispatching approximately 3,000 homebound travellers returning to various provinces across Indonesia. The Mudik Ceria PAN 2026 programme utilises not only bus transport but also rail services, offering citizens a more comfortable and efficient travel alternative.

Putri Zulkifli Hasan, chair of the PAN parliamentary faction, stated that the Mudik Ceria programme represents part of PAN’s commitment to continuously serve the community, particularly during significant occasions such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

“Through the Mudik Ceria PAN programme with the spirit of assisting citizens in free homebound travel, we wish to help the community return to their hometowns with greater peace of mind, safety, and comfort to gather with family on the Day of Celebration,” said Putri Zulkifli Hasan.

For this homebound travel programme, the PAN parliamentary faction also provides various additional facilities for participants. These facilities include food for breaking the fast during the journey, Mudik Ceria PAN t-shirts, and opportunities to participate in prize draws.

The free homebound travel programme forms part of a series of activities conducted by the PAN parliamentary faction during Ramadan. Previously, the PAN parliamentary faction also implemented PANsar Affordable Ramadan in several areas, which provided various essential goods at affordable prices.

Putri Zulkifli Hasan hopes that the Mudik Ceria PAN programme can continue to develop in coming years so that more citizens can benefit from it.

“Going forward, we hope the Mudik Ceria PAN programme can reach more citizens through fleet expansion and additional transport options. Not only by land, but also by sea and air, so that more citizens can be assisted in returning home and gathering with family,” she said.

Putri expressed hopes that the various PAN parliamentary faction programmes during the Ramadan period can provide real benefits to the community and bring happiness to homebound travellers who will celebrate Eid al-Fitr with family in their respective hometowns.
