PAN Organises Discounted PANsar Initiative to Assist Bogor Community

Jakarta – Eddy Soeparno, Deputy Chair of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) from the National Mandate Party (PAN), organised a discounted essential goods sale event called PANsar Ramadhan in Bogor to help residents access affordable basic necessities, on Sunday, 8 March.

According to an official press statement received in Jakarta on Monday, the event was held at GOR Padjajaran in Bogor and attended by thousands of residents.

The event was a direct initiative from Eddy Soeparno in his capacity as Deputy General Chair of PAN, following the directive of PAN General Chair Zulkifli Hasan, who also serves as Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs.

Soeparno explained that the party had prepared 3,000 food packages to help residents meet their daily needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

“This is part of our commitment to be amongst the community ahead of Eid al-Fitr so that residents who need additional essential goods can access them at very affordable prices,” he said in the statement.

He noted that the activity would continue regularly throughout Ramadan to ease the financial burden on residents in meeting their basic needs.

“The PAN General Chair, who is also Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, instructed all party cadres to actively help the community meet their food and essential goods needs. In my electoral district covering Bogor and Cianjur, we consistently carry out these activities to assist residents while also boosting their purchasing power,” he explained.
