PAN Launches Five 'Bantu Rakyat' Programmes During Ramadan — Here Are the Details
Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) will launch five agendas named ‘Bantu Rakyat’. The five agendas will be held during the Ramadan month. This was announced at a press conference by the Chairwoman of the PAN Faction in the DPR RI, Putri Zulkifli Hasan, accompanied by the Secretary-General of the PAN DPP, Eko Hendro Purnomo, and PAN F-PAN member Edison Sitorus of Commission XIII, at the PAN DPP office on Tuesday (3 June 2026).
For the first programme, ‘Panda’i’. Panda’i is an interactive educational competition testing Islamic knowledge for students at high school level or equivalent.
The activities will be conducted at PAN’s regional leadership branches (DPW PAN) across Indonesia, with regional qualifiers. The final stage will take place at the PAN DPP on 14 March 2026, with prizes totalling tens of millions of rupiah and educational scholarships.
‘We inform that during Ramadan, in line with the PAN tagline ’Bantu Rakyat’, PAN will aid the people. The Ramadan activities are: first, Mudik Gratis Ceria; second, the Panda’i programme, an Islamic knowledge competition for children; third, PAN will distribute THR (Tebar Hadiah Ramadan) online across Indonesia for a month via social media; next, PANsar Murah will be held nationally, led by the PAN faction; fifth, a programme to share with thousands of orphans. Naturally all in line with the Bantu Rakyat tagline,’ said Eko Hendro Purnomo.
Putri Zulkifli Hasan, the Chairwoman of the PAN DPR RI Faction, said the second programme is PANsar Murah Ramadan. During the recess, the PAN DPR faction organised PANsar Murah Ramadan. PANsar Murah is conducted simultaneously in various regions across Indonesia as a tangible expression of frugal spending to help the people.
‘During the holy month of Ramadan we will continue to share, help one another, and work together. This aligns with the party’s chairperson Zulkifli Hasan’s directive to go directly to the people, to ensure immediate benefits. The first national programme, PANsar Murah, is a price-offset for essential goods; we hope to meet the community’s needs for staple foods, for example, staples with a Rp 10,000 voucher in local areas. This will be implemented simultaneously by the DPR RI F-PAN with tens of thousands of staple food packages. Then there is the Mudik Gratis Ceria programme, scheduled for 15 March, with departures by bus and train to Java and Sumatra. In essence, we hope Ramadan will truly benefit and be felt by the people,’ said Putri.
For the third programme is Tebar Hadiah Ramadan (THR). Participants will receive daily necessities in the form of staple food packages. The programme will be broadcast live via social media channels, packaged in an interactive and engaging format featuring challenges and short quizzes.
For the fourth programme, PAN will organise Mudik Gratis Ceria. PAN will transport homecomers from Java to Sumatra using rail and bus fleets. The Mudik Gratis Ceria departures will take place on 15 March 2026. PAN helps people return to their hometowns safely, comfortably, and for free.
For the fifth programme, sharing with thousands of orphans on 5 March. PAN says it wants to ensure that orphaned children continue to feel happiness ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
