PAN Faction Fully Supports Prabowo: The State Must Make Things Easier for the People
A member of the House of Representatives Commission I, Slamet Ariyadi, has expressed full support for the steps and commitment of President Prabowo Subianto, who asserted during the 2026 MPR Annual Session Address that ‘the state must make things easier for the people, not complicate them.’
According to Slamet Ariyadi, the statement is an important message and an affirmation that all government policies and services must be oriented towards the interests and needs of the public.
‘The state exists to serve the people. Therefore, all public service processes must be made easy, fast, transparent, and free of red tape. The people need a government that provides solutions, not one that adds to their difficulties,’ said Slamet Ariyadi in a statement on Friday, 14 August 2026.
He assessed that this spirit aligns with the struggle of the National Mandate Party (PAN), which consistently promotes politics that favour the people’s interests. The principle of ‘Moving Fast to Help the People’ must be realised through concrete work, whether through public services, development, or various programmes that directly impact the lives of the community.
Slamet Ariyadi stressed that the government must continue to strengthen a responsive bureaucracy and ensure that the public has easy access to their rights and state services.
‘This is the people’s hope, and we must answer it with real work. The state must be present, move quickly, provide solutions, and help the people. The public should not be burdened by lengthy and ineffective bureaucracy,’ he asserted.
He added that the spirit of making things easier for the people is also in line with PAN’s struggle platform, which aims to present a politics oriented towards public welfare, justice, and services that side with the people.
‘When the state is able to make things easier for the people, that is when the government’s presence is truly felt. PAN will continue to champion this spirit so that it becomes a policy and real work whose benefits are directly felt by the community,’ he concluded.
