PAN Electability Soars, Slamet Ariyadi Reveals Key Factors

The electability of the National Mandable Party (PAN) has reached 5.6 per cent in a survey conducted by Parameter Politik Indonesia (PPI). This figure places PAN in eighth position within the political party electability map according to the PPI survey results.

The Director of Parameter Politik Indonesia, Adi Prayitno, stated that the survey was conducted from 20 July to 3 August 2026 using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents spread across 38 provinces, 116 regencies/cities, 120 districts, and 120 villages/sub-districts.

The survey carries a margin of error of ±2.8 per cent with a 95 per cent confidence level.

Adi Prayitno explained several reasons driving the public to choose PAN. According to Adi, the main factors include PAN’s performance, which is perceived by 11.7 per cent of the public, the quality of the party’s figures at 10 per cent, and the public’s experience in receiving assistance at 8.3 per cent.

Responding to the survey results, the Chairman of the Young Vanguard of the National Mandate (BM PAN), Slamet Ariyadi, welcomed PAN’s electability achievement positively. However, he emphasised that these results should not lead cadres into complacency.

“The 5.6 per cent figure is certainly good news for the entire PAN family. But this is no reason to be complacent. Rather, this must serve as new energy to work harder and move closer to the people,” said Slamet Ariyadi in a written statement on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

In his view, the PPI survey results show a positive public response to PAN’s presence and tangible work. Therefore, this trust must be met with concrete actions that provide direct benefits.

“For us, a survey is not just a number. Behind that number lies the trust of the people. Our task is to maintain that trust by continuing to be present, listening to aspirations, helping the community, and fighting for the interests of the people,” he asserted.

Slamet assessed that PAN’s political work must continue to be directed towards efforts to provide solutions to the problems faced by the community. He believes that politics is not enough through discourse alone, but must be realised through real work amongst the people.

“PAN must be a party that is present when the people need it. We must go down, listen directly to the people’s problems, and then find solutions and fight for them through political work,” he said.
