PAN Distributes Sembako, Holds Discount Markets and Free Mudik During Ramadan 2026

The Association of Members’ Wives (PIA) of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), representing the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, distributed 1,100 basic food packages to staff and cleaners working within the DPR complex. The aid is part of PAN’s efforts to share happiness with others during Ramadan 2026.

‘Today we, year after year, regularly organise charitable activities in the holy month of Ramadan. About 1,100 sembako packages have been distributed to the entire DPR family, including the cleaning staff,’ said Putri Zulkifli Hasan, the head of the PAN DPR RI faction and Deputy Speaker of the DPR’s XII Commission, in Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March.

Putri added that PAN has prepared a number of programmes during Ramadan for public benefit, ranging from Pasar Murah to joint Mudik.

She said the programmes reflect directions from PAN’s General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas).

‘Thus, following the instruction of our General Chairman, PAN members of the DPR are asked to go directly to assist the people, especially in the holy month of Ramadan. There are several programmes; the first is the Pasar Murah—a nationwide subsidised release of sembako from Aceh to Papua,’ Putri said.

She noted that the activities are ongoing. It is estimated that tens of thousands of sembako packages have been distributed by all DPR members and the PAN faction.

Additionally, the ‘Mudik Ceria Bersama PAN’ event is planned for 15 March 2026, with around 3,000 quotas. The journey will be undertaken by bus and train to eight provinces and 29 regencies/cities.

‘All costs will be borne by the PAN faction. Incidentally, yesterday the income was opened on the PAN faction’s social media. Alhamdulillah, within an hour all the quotas were filled,’ Putri concluded.
