PAN Distributes 1,100 Sembako Packages and Free Mudik for Ramadan
The Association of Wives of DPR Members (PIA) of the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction in the DPR RI distributed 1,100 sembako packages to staff and even to cleaning personnel who work in the DPR RI environment, as part of PAN’s Ramadan 2026 outreach. Putri Zulkifli Hasan, who is the chair of the PAN faction in the DPR and the Deputy Speaker of the DPR’s Commission XII, explained that PAN has several Ramadan programmes, including free Mudik. She said in Jakarta on Thursday (5 March 2026): ‘Today we routinely organise sharing activities during the holy month of Ramadan. There are roughly 1,100 sembako packages to be distributed to the entire extended DPR RI family, including the cleaning staff,’ she said on Friday (6 March 2026). She said PAN has prepared a number of programmes during Ramadan for public use. According to her, the programmes presented form part of PAN’s effort to go directly to the people in line with the directive of PAN General Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas). ‘So, under the directive of our General Chairman, DPR members from the PAN faction are asked to go directly to help the community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. There are several programmes; the first is the Pasar Murah programme, i.e., discounted redemption of sembako nationwide from Aceh to Papua,’ she explained. ‘This is still ongoing. Tens of thousands of sembako packages have already been distributed by all members of the DPR RI and the PAN faction,’ she added. In addition, the group is organising Mudik Ceria Bersama PAN, planned for 15 March 2026. Through this programme, they hope to assist people wanting to return to their hometowns. ‘God willing, on 15 March we will also run the Mudik Ceria Bersama PAN programme. We will deploy roughly 3,000 quotas, via bus and train, to eight provinces and 29 regencies and cities. All costs will be funded by the PAN faction. Incidentally, yesterday the revenue from PAN’s social media was opened; within an hour the quotas were filled,’ she concluded.
