PAN Cadre Salary Deductions Raise Rp 8 Billion to Aid Disaster Victims
The National Mandate Party (PAN) has successfully collected Rp 8 billion to assist in disaster management across Indonesia, including responses to forest and land fires (Karhutla). The funds were sourced from salary deductions from PAN cadres serving as ministers, members of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), and members of Regional House of Representatives (DPRD).
This was revealed by the General Chairman of PAN, Zulkifli Hasan, during the celebration of PAN’s 28th anniversary at the JCC, Jakarta, on Friday (18/09/2026). Zulkifli Hasan expressed his gratitude to the party members who contributed to the disaster relief fund.
“I would like to thank the PAN members of the DPR, at the central, provincial, regency, and city levels. Alhamdulillah, we have collected Rp 8 billion from salary deductions, Mr President, to provide assistance to our brothers and sisters affected by these calamities,” Zulkli Hasan stated in his speech.
Zulkifli also thanked all PAN cadres for maintaining their unity, describing it as a spirit that continues to burn brightly like sunlight.
“I also extend my thanks to PAN cadres throughout Indonesia who continue to maintain solidarity, cohesion, and brotherhood in carrying out our mission of struggle,” he said.
Zulkifli noted that PAN has navigated many historical chapters and has endured numerous struggles over the years.
“We have faced challenges and changes together. We have been forged by waves and struck by storms, yet we remain resilient and standing tall. PAN will not be eroded by heat nor decayed by rain, God willing,” he remarked.
Zulkifli concluded by delivering a message to all PAN cadres, urging them to remain steadfast in their commitment to serving the people.
“There is one thing we must always preserve as cadres of the National Mandate Party, and it must never change: PAN must continue to exist as a party that carries the people’s mandate and always assists the people,” he said.
