Pamulang drivers end strike
TANGERANG (JP): Public transportation vehicles have resumed
operations on the Pamulang-Lebak Bulus route since Wednesday
morning.
The drivers and owners of 180 vehicles coded D-15 ended their
two-day strike after the regency's Land Transport Control Agency
temporarily banned their rival fleet belonging to the Koperasi
Wahana Kalpika (KWK) cooperative from plying the same route.
The D-15 drivers went on strike to protest the operation of
the KWK vehicles coded SO9 which plied the same route.
"But the authorities did not say when the S09 drivers will be
allowed to operate again," said Ramli, a D-15 driver.(anr)
