PAM Jaya Refutes Claims of Delayed Excavation in Kalideres

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT PAM Jaya has responded to residents’ complaints about the clean water pipe excavation project on Jalan Peta Selatan, Kalideres, West Jakarta, which residents say has been neglected. Residents say they are puzzled because the excavation has been left open with no worker activity for months. This condition has caused traffic congestion due to road narrowing, especially during peak hours. According to Gatra, the absence of workers at the excavation site is purely due to the construction method used, namely jacking or underground drilling and the pipe being pushed along the trench. ‘Because we push the pipe using a model called jacking.
