PAM JAYA Enters Top 10 Worldwide, Wins Platinum at US LACP Vision Awards
PAM JAYA (Perseroda) has once again distinguished itself on the international stage. The regional-owned water utility secured global recognition at the prestigious Vision Awards – Annual Report Competition organised by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
Through its 2024 Annual Report, PAM JAYA swept three awards simultaneously. PAM JAYA President Director Arief Nasrudin expressed his appreciation to the company’s entire management and staff, stating that the awards are tangible proof of solid internal collaboration.
“This achievement is the result of hard work and smart effort by the entire PAM JAYA team. It is recognition that our working standards have been acknowledged globally,” Arief said in a written statement on Wednesday (18 February 2026).
Highest Award in the Utilities Category
In the competition, which attracted entries from multinational companies worldwide, PAM JAYA successfully claimed the Platinum Award in the Utilities Multi/Water/Traders category. The Platinum designation represents the highest accolade (overall champion) in the category, assessing overall excellence in reporting quality.
Illustrating the intensity of the competition, the Gold Award went to Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd., whilst the Silver Award positions were occupied by major energy corporations including CGN Power Co., Ltd., Dominion Energy, and fellow Indonesian entrant PT PLN Indonesia Power.
The achievement marks a notable milestone for Indonesia’s utilities industry, given the highly rigorous competition standards. It places PAM JAYA’s annual report at the pinnacle of information presentation and corporate communication within the utilities sector.
Top 10 Worldwide
In addition to the Platinum Award, PAM JAYA also earned a place among the Top 100 Reports Worldwide, achieving ninth position globally. This ranking places PAM JAYA alongside the world’s leading companies in terms of annual report quality.
Completing the trio of achievements, PAM JAYA also received a Technical Achievement Award, granted in recognition of the company’s technical excellence in presenting data, design, and creative narratives that remain accessible to the public and stakeholders.
Smart Work and No Room for Complacency
Despite breaking into the global top ten, Arief emphasised that PAM JAYA would not rest on its laurels. He stressed that the awards serve as additional motivation for the company to continue innovating.
“We will not become complacent. This achievement spurs us on to continue improving our performance, both in operational aspects and in clean water services for Jakarta residents, in order to reach the target of 100 per cent service coverage by 2029,” Arief added.
Commitment to Transparency and Good Corporate Governance
The LACP, based in the United States, is an independent body that has organised the competition since 2001. Assessment criteria focus on narrative clarity, financial information accessibility, design creativity, and message clarity.
Securing these international awards is not merely aesthetic recognition but an affirmation of PAM JAYA’s commitment to implementing good corporate governance principles.
A transparent, informative, and internationally benchmarked annual report represents PAM JAYA’s form of public accountability in delivering accountable clean water services to Jakarta residents.
With this achievement, PAM JAYA has demonstrated that a DKI Jakarta regional-owned enterprise is capable of competing and maintaining reporting standards recognised at the global level.
