Palestine Mourns NTT Earthquake, Expresses Solidarity with Indonesia
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed its condolences and deep solidarity to the leaders, government, and people of Indonesia following the major earthquake that struck East Nusa Tenggara province on Saturday. The earthquake is known to have caused deaths and injuries as well as extensive damage to housing, infrastructure, and buildings. The Palestinian government expressed its deep sorrow to the families of the deceased and hoped for the swift recovery of the injured. Palestine hopes that search and rescue personnel and relevant authorities will succeed in saving victims trapped under the rubble and can continue efforts to rescue victims and mitigate the impact of the disaster. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed Palestine’s full solidarity with Indonesia during this difficult time. Palestine also expressed its confidence that Indonesia will be able to face the disaster and overcome its various impacts as soon as possible.
