Palembang Residents Hold Prayers for Rain

Muslims prayed after performing the Istisqa prayer, a prayer for rain, in the grounds of Griya Agung in Palembang, South Sumatra, on Thursday (8 October 2026). The South Sumatra provincial government once again organised the prayer, asking Allah SWT for rain so that the haze disaster caused by forest and land fires affecting Palembang and several regencies in South Sumatra would soon end.
