Palembang–Betung Toll Road Sections 1 and 2 to be opened functionally during the 2026 mudik period

Palembang–Betung Toll Road Sections 1 and 2, comprising Section 1 Palembang–Rengas and Section 2 Rengas–Pangkalan Balai, totalling around 53.2 kilometres, will be operated functionally during the 2026 mudik and Lebaran period. The project is developed by PT Hutama Karya (Persero) as part of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS). The functional operation aims to facilitate traffic flow for both outbound and return journeys during the peak travel season. The route includes facilities such as rest area STA 71 at Sembawa, Banyuasin, South Sumatra.
