Palace: No Plans to Replace Finance Minister Purbaya

The Palace has refuted reports suggesting the replacement of Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. The Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, stated that there are no plans to change the Finance Minister.

According to Prasetyo, the government remains focused on strengthening coordination between economic authorities to maintain stability and support national growth. “I believe it was also conveyed this afternoon by him. There is no, there is no plan for a replacement,” Prasetyo told the media at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Thursday.

Prasetyo noted that the current economic challenges require strong synergy between various relevant institutions. Therefore, the government is prioritising the strengthening of coordination rather than discussing issues regarding official replacements.
