The Presidential Palace has given an assurance that law enforcement processes under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto will be professional and transparent. This step was taken to address public doubts, particularly regarding the handling of a high-profile corruption case.

Special Adviser to the President for Communication and Media, Hasan Nasbi, affirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining legal integrity. "God willing, under the administration of President Prabowo, law enforcement will be prudent, clear, and transparent," Hasan stated at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday.

The statement was a response to concerns over declining public trust following the handling of a case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah. Hasan urged the public not to worry about the government’s commitment to a clean-up of corrupt practices.

According to Hasan, all legal processes are carried out with the principle of caution and without special treatment for any particular party. The case against Febrie Adriansyah originated from an investigation by the Police’s Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortastipidkor). He is suspected of involvement in receiving gratuities and money laundering during his tenure handling several major corruption cases.

During his most recent examination, Febrie was accompanied by his legal counsel, Hotman Paris Hutapea, and faced 18 questions regarding the flow of funds and the core of the case. Although a travel ban has been officially imposed on him, investigators have not yet made an arrest, as Febrie is considered cooperative throughout the legal process.
