Palace Explains Reason Prabowo Suddenly Visited Danantara Building

President Prabowo Subianto visited Wisma Danantara Indonesia in South Jakarta on Thursday (4/6/2026). Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi explained that the purpose of the visit was to listen to a presentation from Danantara regarding the field of technology.

According to observations by CNBC Indonesia, Prabowo arrived at approximately 14:00 WIB. The Head of State travelled in the primary presidential vehicle, the MV3 Garuda Limousine, bearing the RI 1 licence plate.

Prasetyo stated that while the President frequently visits Danantara as part of a routine, today’s specific purpose was to listen to a briefing. “Today, there was a presentation concerning technological issues, robotic cooperation, and how to foster educational cooperation, particularly in STEM, in our efforts to accelerate the mastery of technology required for our national interests,” said Prasetyo at the Presidential Palace Complex on Thursday.

This marks Prabowo’s second visit to Wisma Danantara. His previous appearance was to attend the first anniversary celebration of Danantara Indonesia held at Wisma Danantara on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

During that previous occasion, Prabowo emphasised the importance of enhancing Danantara Indonesia’s performance to strengthen the management of state assets and provide a greater contribution to the national economy. According to the Head of State, Danantara’s long-term targets remain significant. Consequently, Prabowo encouraged Danantara’s leadership to continuously improve performance and ensure that state assets are managed optimally.

“In this first year, although I express my gratitude and congratulate you on your achievements, I must remind you that our targets are still quite far off,” Prabowo stated.
