Palace Confirms No Cabinet Reshuffle Yet, Prabowo Evaluates Ministers Daily
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto will not yet carry out a reshuffle or reorganisation of the Merah Putih Cabinet.
“There is none yet,” Prasetyo said at the Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/4/2026).
Prasetyo explained that the evaluation of ministers is conducted by Prabowo every day.
“The evaluation in the context of whether all of us as the President’s aides have been able to carry out the tasks assigned by him,” he clarified.
“But that does not mean that every evaluation will always lead to a change or reshuffle. It’s not like that,” Prasetyo added.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya briefly commented on the cabinet reshuffle issue.
“Just wait,” Teddy said at the Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/4/2026).
When asked if the reshuffle would be carried out in April 2026, Teddy did not answer clearly.
He only mentioned that Prabowo would explain everything.
“The President will explain later. Okay. Thank you all,” Teddy said.
