Pakistani MPs due here

JAKARTA: A seven-member parliamentary delegation from Pakistan is due here today for a four-day goodwill visit.

The visit is part of regular parliamentary exchange between Indonesia and Pakistan aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries.

The delegation, led by Muzaffar Ahmad Hashmi, will call on deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, J.A. Katili, and other noted politicians, the Pakistan embassy said yesterday.

The visitors are also scheduled to meet with local leaders of Moslem organizations to discuss common problems.(pan)
