Pakistan Bombs Afghan Capital

Former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai has reported bombing incidents in Afghanistan perpetrated by Pakistan. Karzai stated that Pakistan has bombed Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia.

According to Al Jazeera news agency on Friday, 27 February 2026, Hamid Karzai said that Pakistani aircraft have bombed the capital of Kabul. Additionally, Pakistani aircraft have also bombed Kandahar and Paktia.

Karzai stressed that the Afghan people will defend their homeland. He stated that Afghans will resist.

“The people of Afghanistan will defend their beloved homeland with complete unity in all circumstances and will respond to aggression with courage,” he stated.

“Pakistan cannot escape from the violence and bombings—problems of its own creation—but must change its own policies and choose the path of good neighbourship, mutual respect, and developing civilised relations with Afghanistan,” he added.
