Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Welcome Final Stage of US-Iran Negotiations

Islamabad (ANTARA) - Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, have welcomed the final stage of negotiations between the United States and Iran, marked by the scheduled electronic signing of an agreement on Sunday.

This was announced by the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday (13/6).

During a telephone conversation, the two ministers discussed the ongoing negotiations between the US and Iran, expressing hope that the process would result in lasting peace and stability in the region, according to a statement from the ministry.

According to the statement, the Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and sustained efforts in supporting mediation and dialogue throughout the negotiation process.

Both parties also discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the four Regional Foreign Ministers, which is scheduled to take place in Egypt at the end of June.

Pakistan has been actively supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and reducing tensions within the region.
