Islamabad (ANTARA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud have welcomed the final stage of United States (US)-Iran negotiations, marked by the electronic signing of an agreement scheduled for Sunday. This was conveyed by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday (13/6). During a telephone conversation, the two ministers discussed the ongoing talks between the US and Iran and expressed hope that the process would result in lasting peace and stability in the region, the ministry said in a statement. According to the statement, the Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s consistent and sustained efforts in supporting mediation and dialogue throughout the negotiation process. Both sides also discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Four Regional Foreign Ministers, scheduled to take place in Egypt at the end of June.
