Pakistan Air Force trainer aircraft crashes in Punjab; no casualties reported
Islamabad (ANTARA) – A Pakistan Air Force trainer aircraft crashed in the eastern Punjab province on Wednesday, 20 May, according to local security sources. The sources said the aircraft went down during a routine operational training mission in Mianwali District, Punjab. Both pilots managed to eject safely before the aircraft crashed, and there were no casualties reported on the ground, the sources said. They added that the incident occurred due to a technical fault in the aircraft’s engine. An investigation into the incident has been launched by authorities.
