The Jakarta Provincial Government has permanently sealed the Atlas Padel building located on Jalan Puri Indah, Block Q, South Kembangan, Kembangan District, West Jakarta. West Jakarta Mayor Iin Mutmainnah stated that the building lacks permits and, functionally, cannot be issued a permit.

“Yes, it has been sealed. As for Atlas Padel, it is permanently sealed and cannot obtain a permit,” Iin said, as reported by Antara on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

Iin said the location should be restored to its function as green space. “It must be restored to its function as green space,” she said.

Regarding the technical aspects of the building’s functional change, Iin stated that authority rests with the West Jakarta Sub-office of the Department of Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land (CKTRP).

“That would be with the CKTRP Sub-office for technical explanation,” Iin said.

An Antara survey at the location at 16:30 WIB found that the CKTRP Department’s boundary line had been placed around the padel building area. On the building’s door was a red banner containing information about the sealing.

“This building has been subject to permanent suspension (sealed). In violation of Law No. 6 of 2023, Government Regulation No. 16 of 2021, and/or Government Regulation No. 21 of 2021,” the banner read.

There was almost no activity in the sealed building area. Only a few people were seen using the building’s terrace to relax.
