JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The East Jakarta Sub-department of Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Land Affairs (Sudin Citata) has given the management of the padel court in Pulomas, Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, one day to remove their belongings.

The Head of Sudin Citata East Jakarta, Wiwit Djalu Adji, said that the permanent sealing will be carried out after the clearing process is complete.

“So, we are giving them one day to do the cleaning inside. Tomorrow, we will carry out the permanent sealing,” said the Head of Sudin Citata East Jakarta, Wiwit Djalu Adji in Pulomas, Thursday (26/2/2026).

“So today, we are putting up the signs so that everyone knows that this building will be permanently sealed,” explained Wiwit.

He emphasised that they are not yet at the demolition stage and are still in the process of sealing.

“As for the demolition, we see that the PBG (building permit) is still valid. Also, it does not have an SLF (building operating permit). So for now, we will carry out the permanent sealing first,” said Wiwit.

“We are currently working on a concept for restructuring, because padel is not just one. There are many padel courts in the P-U-B-S-T (Central, North, West, South, East) areas. So, we are currently conceptualising the regulations, both for re-permitting and enforcement,” said Wiwit.

Previously, Sudin Citata East Jakarta sealed off the padel court in Pulomas, Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, on Thursday (26/2/2026) afternoon.

Kompas.com’s monitoring at the location showed that the sealing was carried out by the Sudin Citata team, accompanied by the Satpol PP (Public Order Agency), the Head of Pulogadung District, Syafrudin Chandra, and the Head of Kayu Putih Village, Tuti Sugihastuti.

Upon arrival at the location, the Sudin Citata team met with the security officers of the padel court to explain the purpose of their visit and also requested the owner of the court to be present.

Shortly after, the owner of the court arrived and immediately coordinated with the officers.

The owner, together with the Sudin Citata team, then entered the court area to carry out the sealing of the inside and put up boundary lines.

Residents have urged the padel court in Pulomas to be closed because they won a lawsuit at the State Administrative Court (PTUN).
