Bank Indonesia’s West Sumatra representative office has prepared Rp2.849 trillion in cash to meet currency exchange demand during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. The initiative is being carried out in partnership with banks across 19 regencies and cities, operating at 100 locations through 415 exchange events.
