Padang City Government Facilitates Fish Processing Centre to Enhance Quality

The Mayor of Padang, Fadly Amran, is targeting the Pasia Nan Tigo Fish Processing Centre to serve as an alternative processing hub for fishermen in the capital of West Sumatra Province. To improve the quality of fish processing at the centre, the Padang City Government is partnering with academics who possess innovations in fish processing machinery. Furthermore, the government plans to allocate funds in the 2026 revised regional budget (APBD) to improve facilities and infrastructure, ensuring the processing centre can produce premium processed fish products suitable for sale in modern markets.
