Padang City Extends Cooperation with the Electronic Certification Authority

INFO NASIONAL - The Padang City Government extends the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Balai Sertifikat Elektronik (BSrE). Previously the cooperation would end in June 2026, and then extended to June 2030. The extension of the cooperation was digitally signed between the Head of the Padang City Department of Communication and Information Technology, Tommy TRD, and the Head of BSrE, Jonathan Gerhard Tarigan, at the BSrE Office in South Jakarta, on Thursday, 21 May 2026. Jonathan said that Padang City could be a model because it extended the cooperation with BSrE before the PKS period expired. “The cooperation with Padang City would only end in June next month, but before it expired, it has already been extended. This shows Padang City’s commitment to BSrE services,” said Jonathan. According to Jonathan, Padang City Government is also one of the regional governments that has fulfilled the seven obligations under the PKS in the form of the SrE Utilisation Report for 2025.
