Packed concert lineup for month's end

The end of this month is packed with heavy duty concerts, with three groups scheduled to take the stage.

First up is jazz band Incognito which will perform on Friday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Senayan Indoor Tennis Stadium in Central Jakarta.

The performance will be the Dutch group's third in this country, which must be a sign they love playing here so much!.

Tickets prices range from Rp 150,000 for festival class, and Rp 250,000 and Rp 350,000 for tribune seats. Tickets can be obtained at Aquarius Mahakam and Duta Suara record stores, or call promoter Buena Produktama at (021) 7222067 for information.

Local rock band Padi, which is a hot item now, is next in line on Saturday at Bung Karno Indoor Stadium, Central Jakarta on 7 p.m. I(call 2 Tanda Mata at 7208242 for tickets, which are priced at Rp 125,000 and Rp 150,000).

Last but not least is legendary rock group Deep Purple, which canceled their concert last year due to security reason.

Part of Deep Purple in Concert, World Tour 2002, the band will perform on April 30 at the Plenary Hall of Jakarta Convention Center, starting at 8 p.m.
