PABPDSI Forms 8 National Task Forces to Accelerate Village Development

The Central Board of the Indonesian Village Consultative Body Association (PP PABPDSI) has reaffirmed its commitment to becoming a strategic partner of the Indonesian Government, focusing on strengthening village governance and accelerating national development from the grassroots level. This commitment was underscored by the official formation of eight National Task Forces (Satgas Asta Cita Desa) for the 2026–2032 period. PP PABPDSI Chairman H. Fery Radiansyah stated that the organisation is not merely a professional body but a social force ready to support the country’s strategic agenda. “We want to ensure that the President’s Asta Cita vision is not just a national policy but is truly present in the lives of village communities,” Fery said on Thursday. He added that the eight task forces are designed to drive cross-ministerial and institutional collaboration down to the village level. Fery emphasised that Village Consultative Bodies (BPD) play a key role as a bridge between the government and the people, making synergy between the two essential for transparent, participatory, and sustainable village development.
