PABPDSI Forms 8 National Task Forces to Accelerate Village Development

The essence of the restoration movement is to build civilisation and strengthen human quality.

The Central Board of the Association of Members of Village Consultative Bodies Across Indonesia (PP PABPDSI) for the 2026–2032 term has affirmed its commitment to serving as a strategic partner of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

This synergy is focused on championing the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita, particularly in strengthening village governance, empowering communities, and accelerating national development from the ground up.

The General Chairperson of PP PABPDSI, H Fery Radiansyah, said on Thursday (23 July) that as a national organisation encompassing members of Village Consultative Bodies (BPD) from across Indonesia, PABPDSI is not merely a professional association.

Beyond that, the institution positions itself as a social force ready to deliver tangible work in support of the state’s strategic agenda.

As concrete proof, PP PABPDSI has officially established eight National Task Forces (Asta Cita Desa Task Forces). These task forces are projected to become the driving engine of collaboration across ministries and agencies, extending down to village level.

The eight National Task Forces cover a range of strategic fields, including village governance, community empowerment, and national development acceleration.

Fery stressed that the existence of the National Task Forces demonstrates PABPDSI’s seriousness in translating the President’s grand vision into concrete action whose impact can be directly felt by village residents.

“We want to ensure that the President’s Asta Cita does not stop at national policy, but truly manifests in the lives of village communities,” he said.

“Through these eight National Task Forces, PABPDSI is ready to mobilise its entire organisational network to the farthest corners of Indonesia to become part of the solution for the nation’s development,” Fery asserted.

He added that BPDs hold a strategic position as representative institutions of village communities. BPDs function to oversee the administration of village government whilst acting as a bridge for community aspirations.

Therefore, synergy between the government and BPDs is the key to achieving village development that is transparent, participatory, and sustainable.
